The Sparkling Peach Mint Julep is an effervescent riff on the Southern classic that adds peach schnapps and Prosecco to bourbon and muddled mint. The bubbles from the Prosecco give it a festive lift while the peach schnapps deepens the stone fruit character. A perfect Derby Day cocktail with year-round appeal.
Ingredients
0.5 oz Peach Schnapps
1.5 oz Bourbon Whiskey
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
2 oz Prosecco
8 leaves Mint Leaves (fresh)
Instructions
- Muddle the mint leaves and simple syrup in the bottom of a julep cup or highball glass.
- Add the bourbon and peach schnapps.
- Fill with crushed ice and stir until the cup is frosted.
- Top with Prosecco and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
