The Blue Sidecar — sometimes called the Sidecar No. Blue — is a stunning variation on the 1920s Sidecar classic that swaps triple sec for Blue Curaçao, transforming the golden-amber original into a vibrant cobalt cocktail. Cognac, Blue Curaçao, and fresh lemon juice follow the same proportions as the classic, with the brandy's rich stone-fruit and oak character pairing magnificently with the sweet orange and citrus of the Blue Curaçao. Instructions
- Run a lemon wedge around the rim of a coupe or martini glass, then dip in sugar to create a sugar rim.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
